The Origins
I have been enamored with nature for most of my life, coming to Canada from Egypt the Nature scene is dramatically different, from Desert and rocky mountain faces, to Lush Green Forests with life around every corner, I Collected some Moss on my 1st hike in Canada and made a small terrarium, seeing a tiny ecosystem develop and grow in a small corner of my small apartment, I had rediscovered my love of this concept (Bringing Nature indoors), I have always had plants but recreating a forest or Jungle scene in a Glass container was something else entirely.
In February of 2023, one of my good Friend in the hobby (Fadi Naddeh of Daffy’s Reptiles) suggested that I Start a YouTube channel to spread my love of terrariums,(starting a YouTube channel has been one of my goals since 2015 when I saw the 1st YouTube video about terrariums), and thus was the Birth of the Microverse.

The Idea started in My early Childhood with Aquariums, my obsession with all animals began even earlier, Snorkeling was a big hobby of mine between the ages of 11 and 14, I was always fascinated that right beneath the blurred surface of the water a whole other world awaited teaming with life and ever changing.
Around 2015 I discovered Terrariums through a how to video on YouTube and my passion for nature was rekindled, I Attempted to create terrariums as i saw on YouTube, and developed an Obsession with Moss, but living in the desert and having virtually no experience, I struggled to keep any terrarium alive and in a healthy condition, in 2018 we moved to Canada.
With my 1st hike i remembered the long forgotten hobby that I Adored, after 3 or 4 successful jar and Vase terrariums i was obsessed again, in 2021 about 5 days before my birthday, I Had a fully scaped Exo-terra Terrarium Ready for my dream animal, we were on our way the Reptile Expo in Toronto to pick up a Ball Python, our little ray of sunshine, our Needle Noodle Illumi.
